Krakow's John Paul II International Airport in Balice

The Krakow airport is situated conveniently on the Balice outskirts of the city, just 15 km (about ten miles) west from its center. The airport is a twenty minutes' drive or so from the city center. The parking accommodates over 750 vehicles and is situated opposite the passenger terminal.

By bus

Three bus services are available every 15-25 minutes. Line 192 connects the Balice airport with Krakow's Rondo Mogilskie downtown roundabout via the Krakow Glowny central rail station. Line 208 runs to the Krakow Glowny station. Special bus line X08 links the airport with the Old Town. In the city's buses one needs a separate ticket for every piece of luggage except on the bus line X08 where the luggage price it is included. Krakow's regenerated bus service is often the quickest and most scenic way to get around Krakow if you don't cycle.
